Before my dad comes home, my mom wanted to paint their room. She didn't want him coming home to the same thing he left when he was sick. She wanted to have something to go with the new life we all have. She was pretty worried that we wouldn't have anytime to do this. We were always up at the hospital that really we didn't have time. But Last Friday Torie and i stayed home to shock my mom when she got home from work. We headed to walmart, got some paint, and started paint the room. My mom wanted some brown in the room and wanted a different color on one of the walls. My dad favorite color is blue and we thought the brown and blue went great together. Its was such a pain to get the wall paper down, but after that painted went really fast. It did take us all day to do it but i think it turned out great. We still have to hang pictures up and a wall word, but we will get to that. :) We changed the whole room up so it would be easy for my dad to get in and out with the wheelchair and with walking. It worked out perfect.
Lets just say my parents LOVE it. They thought it looked great.
