Daddy update

Its been a really long time. But i thought it would be a good thing to update you all about My amazing dad..

To say the least he is doing Wonderful..

We are still pretty busy every day all week.. We have about 5 different appointments each week. We have to run into salt lake for the hand therapist, and then we have to run to get adjustment for his legs and arm. When we are there, i swear we are always there for about 3 hours. Not even kidding. The reason why is cause the adjustments for my dads legs need to be perfect, or my dad doesn't want to walk on them. I mean who could blame him right. Ive learn to just leave him there and go shopping. :) More like window shopping but its better then hanging out and doing nothing. I like that i can finally leave without having to worry about my dad. He is very independent, for the most part. They are some thing that we still need to help him with. But for the most part he is very great on his own.

My dads arm is doing pretty well. He is still learning how to do normal things, like brush his teeth, get his legs on, get himself food, you know just normal things.

Last week at the hand therapist they had him make himself lunch. Grilled cheeses and soup. He did great. The soup was so easy for my dad to make. His hand was working perfect, but when it came to the grilled cheese. It was a Little harder. He wasn't about to butter the bread, so he asked him. And after that it was pretty well easy. I thought it looked great. But he wasn't happy about it.

Then a few weeks ago my dad headed to Idaho for the first time in a very long time. We finally got the okay from the doctor to let him go. I wasn't able to be there, but i know he did amazing. He was able to see his dad that isn't doing to good right now. Everyone was really excited to finally see him out of the hospital...

When we found out that he would be losing his arm and legs, the first thing My little sister said was.... Will my dad ever be able to mow his lawn again...
Weird thing to say. But the law is my dads pride and joy. He has to have his law just perfect.. Well after 2 months of watching us not doing the law right. My dad got out there and mowed his law. It was very emotional to watch. Who would of thought seeing my dad mow the lawn would make me cry. But thing was something would never thought he would be able to do again. We were wrong and he mowed it great...

And just real quick...

Lets me just say. We have amazing friends.. With this fundraiser coming up, we have learned that there is really amazing people in this world.. I just cant believe how great people are..
So let me just say THANK YOU.....

Just a fast update for you guys about my dad. Things are just great over here..

Hope you all have a great weekend... :)
