So Wednesday night my dad woke up about 5 in the morning and he belly was the size of 4 bowling balls. He belly was so swelled that they had to do a few test to see why it was doing that. They said anytime they works with the bowel its never uncommon for something like this to happen. Bowel really don't like to be messed around with. His hear rate was really high and his blood pressure was stable. He was having a hard time breathing and was just really tired. When the x-ray come back it looked like he was having an other obstruction of the bowel. The only reason why they didn't think it was that was cause he was still passing gas and was able to have bowel movements. So what they did was put a tub down his nose to get ride of all the fluids from his tummy as well as the air. They are really hoping that he will start burping and farting a lot more, cause the tub can only take out so much before there is nothing left. So passing gas is the best way to get all the air out. Who would know we would be excited about my dad passing gas.. :)
So after the tub went in, right away there was 2 liters that came out., and by the end of the night there was 4 liters. Crazy huh. I cant believe how much your body can hold. Once they got that in his heart rate started going down and it seems like he wasn't in as much pain anymore. But then all day yesterday he was just super tired and not really doing anything. Kinda felt like we did a big circle.
As of today they still have the tub down him, but what he said they are going to take it out tomorrow! Lets hope. He heart rate is normal and he seems to be doing a lot better today! i know that we will have bumps in the road but haven't we already had so many. I thought we would be out of the woods and be thinking about going home sooner! I know that time will come, but we are already to have him home now!
My dad legs, hands and fingers look wonderful, we should be getting stitches out here in the next week. Still hard to not see them there, but I'm getting used to it! Each day he is having to get medication to get ride of the feeling that he still has feet and hand. That's hard to see him think he still has them but the doctor says that should only last a few months. My dad says his fingers on his right (remember that's the one that had to go to his elbow) feel like they are 2 feet long and that someone is holding his hand. He thinks that he feet are ice cold and that he is wearing shoes! So that is hard to have to remind him that there aren't there.
Last night was a really hard time for my dad and i! He was looking sad and i ask him what wrong and he told me "I just don't understand why it has to be me, Why do i always have to get sick, and get out through this"BROKE MY HEART! I had no clue what to say to him! I just told him that he is so strong and to never give up! He promised me that he would Never stop fight and together we will get through this!! Made me feel a little better.
My dad is STRONG

Here is a picture of my sweet dad sleeping. :)
Okay so on to the good news!
My dad's working is AMAZZZING!
So when my dad got sick they got together and saved up money to pay the house payment, they also gave us money just for the hell of it, they are dealing with dad retirement for us, they have gotten a raffle together to raise money for my dad wheel chair and whatever else we need, and i can keep going on and on, so pretty much they are the bomb.com. Am i right..
Well about a few weeks ago we got a call from my dad's work buddy and he told us that working is going to build a ramp for my dad.
I was like
Yes that is how i looked for a good couple hours. I was just so happy. They told us, all we need to worry about is getting my dad better and get him home. With them helping us and them dealing with everything we really don't have to worry about anything other then getting my dad better! It just amaze me what they are doing! I knew my dad was liked and loves, but you never really know till you get sick! He is so loved and so amazing to everyone! I don't think we can say thank you enough to them for everything that have done for us and for my dad!
So a week or so before my dad gets home our house will be a construction zone. The whole house, we will get new door, new tub chair, toilet chair and a wonderful ramp. Its just amazing how much people come together in times like these. We are SOOO thankful for everyone that has helped us.
