Zeus Man

Inst it funny how close you get to your pets. 

I swear that once they come into you lives you never want them to leave. 

11 Years ago my brother got his first dog. Right at first i fell in love with Zeus man. That whole summer was just Zeus, Mike and myself. It was the summer before i moved to Idaho and it was also the summer my brother got into a really bad car crash. 

Zeus was my best friend. Really.

Then we moved and each time i would see Zeus it was like he missed me as much as i missed him. 

You just look at those big brown eyes and those big Zeus kisses. It just always seem to make your day. 

Well on September 21, my brother and sister in law had to do the hardest thing in the world, and lay Zeus man to rest. He was really sick and had cancer. My brother told me that he looked tired and looked like he was ready to go. They took him to the vet and they pretty much told him the same thing. 

So Saturday afternoon Zeus passed away in my brothers arms.

Hardest thing is hearing how upset my brother is and never seeing him cry. I know big man is in a better place and istn hurting anymore. 

But its hard to know that i wont be able to see him and wont be able to look at those big brown eyes. 

Its even harder that i didnt get to say goodbye to him. 

He was the greatest dog out there and he knew that.

Love you Big Man, and i miss you more then you will ever know! :)
