Things will get better

The last few weeks have been a big up hill battle. I'm feeling very alone, very understood, and just down. In the past few weeks i have had to take in a lot of information. I am starting to have to make decisions that i don't think i need to be making alone. But i am.
I have been off my depression pills for a few months now, but i really think i need to get back on them as soon as i can. Im just not feeling like myself again.
But i found these quotes and it made things a little (tiny) but better.

And then i see this happy, carefree, little man that i have in my life. I forget about everything that is going on and just worry about the time i have with him. How grateful i am to have him in my life, how grateful i am that he picked me to be his mommy.
Life will throw you curve balls, and life will had you lemons.
But we get though it one way or an other.
I thank this little man for helping me make it this far!
I love you Connor Mike.

15 weeks

What's up with Baby this week? Baby is now measuring roughly 4 inches, crown to bum, and weights in at approximately 2 1/2 ounces. (Size of an apple) Your adorable four-inch break-dancer is busy cutting a rug inside their dance studio, even if you still can't feel it.your wee monkey's elbows and knees are bending more freely this week and their little legs arefinally less stubby than their arms. Many of your baby's major organ systems are increasing in capacity. You wee womb-tenant is now capable of making all sorts of interesting facial expressions, which include squinting, frowning, and grimacing

Symptoms? Hip Pain, Cramping a lot. I think i have just got used to all the cramping that i don't notice it till i am relaxing for the night. Cause at night is when it really starts to bug me.

Gender? We know, but we aren't till just yet. ;-)

Excited For? I Go in for my doctor appointment Monday. I hope to get some more questions answered. I'm pretty nervous for this appointment, but hoping it will be a good one and not more bad news. I'm also excited to let everyone know the gender.

Maternity Clothes? I have a few but i haven't had to wear them just yet. Most of my work pants are pretty stretchy, so i have been very lucky there. Over then weekend i tried on a few pants and then are getting tighter. My shirts still fit great.

Sleep? Lets just say i haven't had the best sleep this past week. Logan is now working graveyards and my hips, and cramping have been pretty bad that it takes me a long time to fall asleep. Then i wake up about twice to go pee. By 7 im wide awake cause this is when Logan gets home from work. Im hoping to get better sleep this week.

Movement? I have been feeling little movements here and there. When i take a bath is when i feel it more. I cant wait till Logan and Connor can start feeling Baby move.

Belly Button Status? Still in

Missing Anything? This weekend?? Being able to drink. It was my brothers birthday and they were playing card drinking games and i was asleep by 8:30pm. I also miss not cramping.

Milestones?
Hit the 15w mark

15w found out the gender

Cravings? Salty Chips and of course pickles.

Weight Gain? Down 12 pounds. But i will know more Monday.

Yes i know its upside down. But here is Baby G little foot.

Once i announce what we are having i will post more pictures.

Engagements

Picture over load. But i have so many favorites from our engagements i cant just pick a few.

We did our engagements pretty ready. It was at the first of April. Reason why is so we can get ready for the save the dates and it was just one more thing checked off the list. Our photographer is amazing. She is my parents next door neighbor and her kids are Connors best friends. She is always the one that does our family pictures so it was just perfect cause i knew how she worked and how the picture are going to turn out. I have always been impressed with her work

. It was so much fun just taken pictures of Logan and myself. We don have many of just the two of us. So these photos will be forever treasured

So i'm not going to leave much other then our pictures. Enjoy!!!

I sure love my husband!!!

Rehearsal Dinner

August 2nd my mother in law put on our rehearsal dinner.
Logan and i are so thankful for all the hard work she did to put this on for us. It was so great to just be able to show up and not have to worry about anything that night.
Before the dinner we headed to the Club house (this is where we were getting married at) to do the wedding rehearsal. It was so nice to have all our line there and finally together. I think it went pretty smooth and the rest of the night was relaxing and enjoying the company.

Barb came up with all the decoration and had a little help with Chads (Logan's brother)
girlfriend. All the mason jars were hung up with my wedding colors. Each table had a center piece, that was my color. The food was all homemade from each of our family members. It was just such an amazing night. Knowing that this was going to be my last night as a Higgins. It was pretty crazy to think about. Be spending it with the most important people in my life just made it that much better!

Logan's cousin also made all the yummy dessert.
She made rum cupcakes, strawberry cupcakes, rocky road cupcakes, and lots more.

She also made root beer cake as well as lemonade cake . Those two were in cute little glasses. Everything tasted great. Really the dessert was just amazing and everyone love it.

Both sides of the family was at the Dinner. It was great to finally see both our family together. I know that i always say this but i cant even start to say how grateful i am to have such wonderful people in our lives. To see how much support we had was just amazing. I cant say thank you enough to all our family and each of our friends. It wouldn't of been perfect without each one of you guys!

I'M SO THANKFUL!!!

Bridal Shower

Super Late i know. But better late then never right??

Okay so July 20th, my AMAZING BFFFFF Jennie and my lovely sister put on by far the best bridal shower i have ever been to.
They didn't let me know anything about my bridal shower till the day of. So walking into this awesome room full of my wedding colors, my friends and family was just the best thing.
The decorations was to die for thanks to Jennie, she worked her little butt off. My sister did all the games and the food. We played how well i knew Logan. If i got an answer wrong i had to put a bubble gum into my mouth (They weren't just little gums they were HUGE one). I do have to say that i think i did pretty good. Yes i did have a mouth full of bubble gum but its wasn't as bad as i was thinking it was going to be. Then we played a few little scrabble games of the wedding and then we got all the group to make a dress out of toilet paper.
It was so funny watching everyone try to make a dress, but most everyone had amazing idea. Some made flowers, headbands, rings, the garter and a few bows. It was really hard to pick who the winner was going to be. I think everyone had a great time.
Then we headed to open some gifts. I HAD TONS i couldn't believe it.

I just want to say thanks to my amazing best friend and my wonderful sister for putting on my bridal shower. I truly wouldn't of made it thought this wedding planning without any of you guys. Also a big thanks to all my great family and friends for coming and supporting us! We love you all so much!
Like i said before this was by far the best bridal shower i have ever been to!!!!
THANKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!
