Box to What?

So this year i thought forever about what Connor was going to be for Halloween? Maybe Spider man, or Iron Man, or a fireman, or a dinosaur. He was in love with everything and changed his mine all the time. So i knew i had to pick something and get it soon..

THEN

Lightning McQueen came to my mind.

When Connor was about 9 months till about 1 1/2 he was IN LOVE, i mean in love with Lightning McQueen. He watched that movie about 20 times a day no joke. I swear that we ruined our movie cause we watched it so much.

So needless to say Connor was going to be Lightning McQueen.

And i didn't want to get just a little body suite and call it good, I wanted to make it different and Cute. So i got on the web and looked and i came across this.....

Umm Make a car out of a BOX.

Awesome right. I thought it was going to be way hard to so something like this.. Knowing me i am not CRAFTY at all.. There in nothing in the body that is good with making things. So i knew it was going to be hard..

So Logan got the Box and went at it. He got in done in no time. :)

And this is how it turned out.

   Then we painted it.

 and made lighting bulbs

and Wheels

and put 95 on the back of it.

  We also did Lightning Eye, Smile and put Rust-eze on it.

 

If i say so myself i think it turned out DAMN CUTE... ;-)

We also put straps on it and got him an outfit to wear on under it..

I cant wait till tomorrow when he can go trick-or-treating.
