Cellulitis

Wednesday May 28th, after i came home from work, Connor was crying and saying that his tooth was hurting. It had been hurting him for a few days. So i called the dentist to make an appointment.
We headed down there got a few x-rays and had the doctor check him out.
They couldn't find anything wrong with him so sent us home with some medication. They told us that if it got worst or his cheek started to swell to come back right away and they will look more into it.
So Wednesday night i gave him so medication and we went to bed.
When we woke up the next morning my poor babies face was so swelled.

He woke up just crying his poor little eyes out. I called the dentist right away and told they what was going on. So 9:00am we headed down to the doctor again.
Once we got there, they looked him over cause they were thinking it was an abscess in the tooth. The more he looked at it the more he wasn't sure. So he finally said i think you need to take him to the ER, and not Tooele i would take him right up to Primary Children. He also told me that they would start Connor on Iv's and he was sure that Connor was going to need surgery..No mother wants to hear that you need to take your child up the a children hospital and surgery. So of course i held it together for Connor cause i didn't want to scare him more. But as soon as i called my mom i lost it. Logan was at work so i wasn't able to call him right away. So calling my mom was the next best thing. She told me that she was willing to come up with me. But i told her let me see what the ER doctor says first and then you can come up. I didn't want her to make a trip up and end up not having to do anything.
So up to Primary we headed.
While driving up there i was able to get ahold of Logan i told him to just stay working and that i would be fine alone.
Well as soon as we got to the ER Logan was there waiting. I guess it a good thing that he works in Salt Lake. Even though i told him he didn't need to come up i was really glad that he did.

As soon as we got back to our room the nurse told us NO FOOD OR DRINKS. I of course thought of crap he is going in for surgery.
Well the Er Doctor came in and looked Connor over. I mean everything he looked at an touched and watched. He told us that we had to options
1: Stay at the hospital and get medication from the Iv's
2: Go home and get some less strong meds and watch how he does.
( Now that i know how Connor was acting the next few days i wish that we would of stayed at the hospital)
Of course i didnt want to stay the hospital, and i knew that Connor was scared and hate being away from his bed at night. So Logan and i said that we wanted to go home.
The Er Doctor told us that Connor had Cellulitis. We had to make sure to watch him eye cause they didnt want the infection to go in his eye cause it could cause him to go blind. I was a little freaked out but i knew going home was going to be the best thing for Connor.
They told us that if it got worst that we need to come right up and they would get him all hooked up on medication.
So home we went.
That whole day Connor and i just layed around and i was checking his eye and face every 5 mintues i swear. Later that night we headed over to my parents house for dinner. Connor started to run a fever or 101. They told us as soon as it hit 102 that we need to come up. I would check him temp every 30 mintues or so. It never went pass 101. But that night he was just not himself. He is tired, and not talking, not evev looking at us very much. I kept asking him if he thought he needed to go back to the doctor and he told me mommy im okay i just want to go home and sleep. Thats just what we did.
The next morning we had to make an appointment for his normal doctor and from there we would find out if we needed to go back to the hospital. Doctor Gould looked him over and said pretty much the same thing the ER doctor told us. Just watch him and make sure it doesnt get worst. Gould marked on his face so we knew where it was at and if it has getting worst.
The pictuer bellow is how he rode home from the doctor. Breaks your heart doesnt it.
Later that afternoon he was starting to act a little more like himself. We went outside and watered the flowers and just hung out on the front purch. About an hour or so he wanted to go back in cause the sun was hurting his eyes and he couldnt see.
We went back inside and took a long nap. When he woke up he was still hurting. So i gave him some medication and took his temp. Again it was 101.5. I called my mom and asked if she would come over and look at him to see if she thought he needed to go in. After he saw his grandma i think that it was made him better cause he was able to eat a little bit and stay up for more then 30 mintues at a time..
The next morning we woke up and the first thing i said was let me look at your face and take yout temp.
99.2 and his eye looked better then what it had been looking like. I asked him if he was up to doing something today and not just staying at home. So we headed off to the movies to get out.
By the time the movie was over his face was looking a lot better. It still hurt him when you would touch it but he wasnt non stop crying like before. I hate seeing my little baby in so much pain.
Yesterday i finally had my crazy wild boy back. He is acting just like himself again and is as silly as ever! His eye is still a little red and swelled. But you can actually tell he is feeling better. I still want to call and get an doctor appointment with Gould cause i want to make sure it gone and everything is back to normal. But i cant make the appointment till he is done with his medication. So next Monday we will go in and see how everything is looking. So please till then keep my little man in your prayer.

LOVE YOU CONNOR MIKE!!!!!

Wedding

We have 2 months to the DATE!!!

I always knew that wedding planning would be stressful and fun all at the same time. We have a lot of the big stuff all ready but its the little things that we are needing to get.

Finally we got the bridesmaid dresses, let me tell you those thing were going to kill me. I was having a hard time cause all the bridesmaid live in different states. So its not like we are all going to be able to meet together and have a girls day of shopping. So I had to do it the hard way and look for dresses online and hope that everyone fit and liked the dress i picked. So far Three of the 6 have been able to try them on and from what they say that all like the dress. phwww.

We also have to get the shirts for the groomsmen. If you all know my brother he is BIG. My brother is 6'11 and just as tall as you can get. So trying to find a shirt that is the same color as the other boys is and in his size is kinda hard. So cross your finger that we get everything and make this a beautiful wedding.

I have so many ideas that i want to have at the wedding but i just don't know how to put everything together. I wish more then anything i had my BFFF here with me cause i know she would kick me in the butt and get things done for me. Right JENNIE :)

Here are some ideas that i kinda wanna do.

I also have most of the song picked out for the wedding.
The only one im missing is the song i will be walking down to. So any ideas will be awesome!!

2 Months people thats all the time i have left till i become a Garcia and be a wife. I sounds so unreal to me.
I cannot wait to Marry the man of the dreams and start a bigger family with him. I can just picture me walking down to my husband and seeing that little smile on his face.
