Izaac Paul

So i couldn't wait at all! I just had to see my little guy one last time before he got here. 

I called Fetal Fotos to see what it was to do an 3d ultrasound, and comes to find out that since i had been there before when we found out the gender i was able to get $30 off!! So i couldn't pass it up. I made an appointment for the next day at 6:30. I swear that day went by so slow!!!

We asked both our moms and my little sister to come with us. Since they wont be in the delivery room we thought this would be a good time for them to see Izaac before he came. 

Izaac was being stubborn and wouldn't move his hand from his face. He had the umbilical cord in his hand and his hand up on his face. We were able to get some good pictures after trying and trying! I had to move from side to side to see if it would move his hand but nothing worked. Oh and Izaac already has a head FULL of hair!!!!

At one point he stuck his tongue out, and Connor thought it was the funniest thing in the world. I always tell Connor that he has to be nice to my belly (cause he likes to try and wake him up) or his brother will come out and be mean right back to him. Looks like the brother fights have already started! :) I love it cause Connor is always talking about how Izaac stuck his tongue out at him!

We got the whole thing on a DVD and once i upload it i will make sure to post the video. But for now enjoy my little Izaac Paul..

31 Weeks

What's up with Baby this week? 
31 Weeks.

ARE WE DONE YET....

Our little man is weighing in at 3.5  POUND...
and about 16 inches long.
The size of a Coconut


With each added layer of baby fat, your baby's wrinkly raisin skin starts to look more and more like it will when they're born. The heavy news: you can expect your miracle-gro muffin to gain about a half a pound of weight per week from now until about two weeks before birth. Your baby's developing immune system has made some serious gains over the past weeks getting them in full gear to face our disease-ridden world o’ wonders. Even so, a large majority of your child’s immune strength will need to come from your milk in the first year. Their cute little noggin’ (which could already be covered with luscious locks or just purty peach fuzz), is still soft because the skull bones have not yet fused together.
 As disturbing as having an infant with a soft cracked skull sounds, it's pretty much a necessity for passage through the birth canal during labor. If your baby is in your birth canal for an extended period, they'll come out with a bit of a cone head, as a result of their skull plates being compressed while in your rather snug birth canal. It's normal, harmless and their skull will even out into a more round, less cone-heady shape in the next few weeks. Oh, and FYI: your baby may have that “soft spot” on their head for up to eighteen months after birth.

 This week, your baby measures over 16 inches long. He weighs about 3 1/3 pounds (about the size of a coconut) and is heading into a growth spurt. He can turn his head from side to side, and his arms, legs, and body are beginning to plump out as needed fat accumulates underneath his skin. He's probably moving a lot, too, so you may have trouble sleeping because your baby's kicks and somersaults keep you up. Take comfort: All this moving is a sign that your baby is active and healthy.

Symptoms?  My sciatic nerve is going to be the death of me. It hurts to be on the feet for along period. At night I'm also getting dang restless leg syndrome.. 

Gender? Handsome little boy!

Excited For?
 Baby showers.
This week im going to paint little Izaac room and sit up his crib. I cant wait to see what its going to look like!

Maternity Clothes? OH YES. I think i would die without these. They are a women best friend.

Sleep? Well it been getting better now that i have this bad boy! But with my sciatic nerve and restless legs and having to pee 4 times a night, im not getting as much sleep as i would hope.

Movement? LOTS!!!! He is always moving. I think its pretty funny to watch my belly go crazy! 

Belly Button Status? Even with belly. Sometime you can see my belly button through my shirt but not every day! 

Missing Anything?

Cravings? Nothing really this week. I have noticed that i'm not hungry all the time like i normal am. 

Weight Gain? Well it looks like i have been wrong for the last few weeks but i'm close to 25 Pounds.
I hate thinking of how much i have gained. Everyone says it doesn't look like i have other then my belly but i can tell. It makes me sad cause i know its going to be hard to lose again!!!




I went in to my doctor Friday and Everything went great!
Izaac heart beat was 140 i'm measuring about 32 1/2 weeks and she is happy with my weight gain.
We also talked about how i want my labor to go.
This time i really want to try and natural. So i'm looking into things that might help me along the way.
It will just be Logan and I in the room. He really makes me calm and that whats i need when i'm trying to go natural. I will be able to walk around as much as i want, they will have the exercise ball ready for me and they will even have the tub in the room for me. No i will not be having a water birth but it will be there just in case i want to get in the tub and relax.
She talked about different meds that i can take that will ease the pain off. One is called the walking epidural . She says a lot more people are doing it and they are happy with it. So who knows maybe if i get to my breaking point i might have to go to this!
 Over the last week i have been getting really scared cause i don't think i will be able to do it, i'm scared i wont be able to breast feed and i'm just scared. But talking with my doctor made me feel 100% better! Its actually making me excited..
All i know is my little man will be here with us soon and we cannot wait to hold and love on him! :)

5 Years

5 years ago today i never thought i would be where i am now. 

I remember that day so much.

Logan asked me out on a date right after i got back from Mexico. We went to the movie Paul Blart Mall Cop, and after the movie we took a drive just to spend more time together. 

Right before he dropped me off at my house he looked at me and asked if i would be his girlfriend. I never thought he would ask. 

After that day i knew that i would marry this man

And look at us now! Married, 2 little boys, a house, and 2 dogs!

I cant picture my life without Logan in it. He drive me CRAZY most of the time, but going to bed and sleeping next to the man of my dreams is by far the best thing in the world. Just knowing that no matter what life throws at us i know that we will be okay and make it out on top! 

He has been there for me thought it all. 

I cannot wait to see what the next 5 years and the next 5 years hold for us! I know that its going to be amazing. 

I love you Logan more then you will ever know! You make everything so much better.

Thank you for always being my support and making sure i always feel like i'm loved!

30 Weeks

The size of a Cabbage

Woohoo! You can finally see the finish line now that you're in the final quarter of the race!!! Whether you felt like your pregnancy's been flying by or slower than a snail scaling Everest, you've arrived in your thirtieth week and your baby's cookin' beautifully! In animal news: the fine lanugo hair that covers their little monkey-like body will start falling off this week in preparation for the big day. Still, don't be too shocked if your baby ape is hairier than you’d anticipated. Some babies keep their lanugo after birth - which is totally normal, and it will fall off eventually. Checking in on the fat factory: your little porker is getting even cuter with increasingly pudgy arms and legs, thanks to their ever-growing layers of subcutaneous brown fat
 Keep up the good work you two!
 our baby's about 15.7 inches long now and weighs almost 3 pounds . A pint and a half of amniotic fluid surrounds her, but that volume will shrink as she gets bigger and takes up more room in your uterus. Her eyesight continues to develop, though it's not very keen; even after she's born, she'll keep her eyes closed for a good part of the day. When she does open them, she'll respond to changes in light but will have 20/400 vision — which means she can only make out objects a few inches from her face. (Normal adult vision is 20/20.)

Symptoms?  My sciatic nerve is going to be the death of me. Mostly my right side but as the week went on my left side started to hurt really bad. At night I'm also getting dang restless leg syndrome.. IT sucks so bad, i just want to cry at some points. This week my heart burn has been pretty nice to me! Thank god.

Excited For? Baby showers. I have one this coming up weekend and then one in two weeks. I cant wait to see what little man is going to get. Im also trying really hard to save up some money so i can do one finale 3d ultrasound of our little man. I just want to see if he has chubby cheeks or if he still has his daddies lips. To bad they are so much money!!!. Im dying to get one done asap.

Sleep? Well it been getting better now that i have this bad boy! But with my sciatic nerve and restless legs and having to pee 4 times a night, im not getting as much sleep as i would hope. During the afternoon i am ready for a nap and about 9:00pm im ready for bed.

Movement? LOTS!!!! He is always moving. He really likes to move when he hears Connor talking or when im getting ready to go to bed. I think he is trying to keep me up. But it doesn't bug me cause i love watching my belly go crazy!! Watch here. I swear this is the best part about being pregnant. Yeah sometime he really likes to get up in my ribs and stick his little foot out. BUT i LOVE it so much! I cannot wait to see his little man!

Belly Button Status? Even with belly. Sometime you can see my belly button through my shirt but not every day!

I go to the doctor this week so i will know more of a right count. Im hoping not much more then 20. I really hope its going to be easy lose this time around.


Over the weekend Logan and i were looking at Crib. I wanted a new one but i wasn't going to spend $400 for a crib and then have to buy a changing table, dresser, and everything else to go with it.
Logan was really set on getting a crib that was a 3 in 1. So we looked on KSL.
After looking for a few minutes we came cross one we really liked.
We called the guy right up and asked all the questions and headed to go pick it up.
The funny thing is, is that this is the same crib we wanted from the start the only thing different is, this crib is lighter and we wanted a darker one. BUT who is going to complain when the crib and changing table was $110 total!!! SCORE. I swear the crib looks brand new. Im so in love with it and now i cant wait to paint his room.!!

Connor Mike

Thursday while i was at the doctors, Connor called me and said that he had a big surprise! I kinda knew what it was going to be cause his tooth was so lose. 

So when i get home Connor comes running to me with this big tooth less smile! 

It just about melted my heart away..

Isnt he just the cutest!! 

Its funny now cause he has a little trouble with his s. It makes him talk funny now cause he is missing his tooth bottom teeth! But it is by far the sweetest thing in the world!

Then over the last week, we got a letter from Connor teacher asking us if it would be okay to have Connor start reading at a higher level. She said that he is doing amazing at reading and feels like he needs to have something harder or he would get board at school. I am such a proud momma cause i was never good at reading but i know that my Connor Mike will do amazing at this! I cant wait to see what else he will do. He amazes me each and every day!

29 Weeks

What's up with Baby this week? 
29 Weeks.

Our little man is weighing in at 2.5 POUND...
and about 15 inches long.

If you’ve been feeling weird little fluttering butterflies in your belly, it’s not just your run-of-the-mill pre-birth performance anxiety. Actually, it's your amazing baby with a case of the hiccups: a fairly common occurrence at this point, due to them practicing breathing for their big birthday. 
In addition to getting a round of butterfly-like hiccups, your little swimmer has arduously managed to accumulate enough baby fat to account for nearly 3.5% of their overall body weight. Yeah, compared to we lardy adults, it’s not very impressive, but considering they used to have NO fat, it’s certainly a healthy (and body-warming) accomplishment in its way.
 Another fantastic life-critical accomplishment: your baby's spleen is now in charge of hematopoiesis — the 10 dollar name for the process involved in building up certain important blood components.
Your baby now weighs about 2 1/2 pounds (about the size of a butternut squash) and is a tad over 15 inches long from head to heel. His muscles and lungs are continuing to mature, and his head is growing bigger to make room for his developing brain.
To meet his increasing nutritional demands, you'll need plenty of protein, vitamins C, folic acid, and iron. And because his bones are soaking up lots of calcium, be sure to drink your milk (or find another good source of calcium, such as cheese, yogurt, or enriched orange juice). This trimester, about 250 milligrams of calcium are deposited in your baby's hardening skeleton each day.

Symptoms? Cramping, heart burn, and my sciatic nerve is really bugging me this week. This week has been a pretty hard week for me. Im getting very uncomfortable, and its harder to breath..   

Gender? Handsome little boy!

Excited For? Baby showers. I found out that i will be having two showers. One in Idaho for my family and one here in Utah with friends and Logan side of the family. I cant wait!!! 

Maternity Clothes? OH YES. I think i would die without these.

Sleep? Well it has been pretty bad till i bought this bad boy! It was like day and night. Before i wasnt able to sleep at all. I would toss and turn all night. But now that i have this i feel like a new women!! I think every one that is pregnant needs one of these.
Heart burn has been bad this week again. I hope this means that our little Izaac has a lot of hair! :) 

Movement? LOTS!!!! I swear this little guy doesn't sleep much. He has started waking me up in the middle of the night by rolling around. I think he is just getting me ready for when he gets here. I just hope he isn't up as much as he is now. Watching him move is by far my favorite thing to watch!

Belly Button Status? Half way in and half way out.

Seeing my toes
laying on my stomach. That's how i would sleep each night, i miss it so much!

I went in to my new doctor this week.
Lets just say i LOVE my new doctor. She is so fun and just very nice. I was so worried but im really glad i found someone that i really like.
A little bad history.... the weekend of new years i started to get really bad braxton hicks. They were coming about 9 every hour and lasting about 30 sec. I was getting really scared thinking i was going into labor. I called Labor and delivery to see what they thought. They told me to drink a liter of water and lay on my left side to see if that would help. They said give it about an hour and if that doesn't help that i need to come in and get checked. So Logan got me a drink and i tried to lay on my left side. It seemed to be worst on that side and when i would drink it would make them come stronger. So after an hour i called Logan up to our room and said that we needed to go in.
We dropped Connor off at my parents house and headed to the hospital.
We got there and got checked in and back to our room. The nurse hooked me up and started to ask me a million and one questions. My little guys heart rate was a up a little bit but she said it was cause of the braxton kicks and it was nothing to worry about. Finally the doctor came in to check me. I was dilated the same i have been for a few weeks now. 1 1/2 and that i wasn't thinning out. Good sign. They then had me do a few test to see if i had any kind of infection. Everything came back normal.

So all they told me is that i was having bad braxton hicks and that if i had more then 12 an hour that i needed to come back in. Then they sent me home.
But good news Izaac is great!!! But momma is just having a lot of braxton hicks. March 22 cant come soon enough!




Anyways when i went to my doctor she asked me how i had been feeling. I told her pretty much the same but it had gotten a little better.
She check his heart rate and it was wonderful and i was looking great! She gave me a few stretches to do to see if it would help me a little. But she also said that she thinks my Subchorionic hemorrhage is bad.. She told me to start doing the stretches and if this doesn't help that the next appointment she will make me have an ultrasound and see if it is back. She thinks it is back but doesn't want to jump to things before we try others. If it is back i will be put on bed rest for the rest of the pregnancy and will have to take it easy till little Izaac gets here!

I swear after everything that has gone on with this pregnancy i don't want to have any more kids. haha
It has been so different compared to Connor. I just cant wait to our little man is in my arms and i can kiss that adorable face!!

Izaac Room Plans!

I don't have very long till little Izaac will be here. So i need to start getting his room planned and painted! I never got to do this with Connor Mike cause he was just in the room with me. But now that we have our own place little Izaac has his own room and i cant wait to get it all ready for him!

So here are some of my ideas! No who ever wants to make his bed set for me will be my best friend forever!!!!! 

His room will be Dark Blue and Lime Green! Cute right!

Here are a few ideas how i want to paint his room. I cant get Logan on board with the strips but maybe just maybe with some time i can get him to like them! 

I also want to do some cute saying over his bed! I dont know if i was to do picture frames of the sayings or if i  want to do vinyl. 

I know i have to start getting my butt in gear and start doing his room cause this little guy will be here before we know it!! 

I CANT WAIT!!!!

Tooth

CONNOR LOST HIS FIRST TOOTH!!!!!!

This tooth has been lose for the longest time. It was Thanksgiving when we noticed it. Then a few days later we noticed that the one right next to it was really lose.. So After a month of trying to get this tooth out, ONE of them came! It wasnt even the first one that was lose it was the one next to it. 

This tooth was just hanging out by nothing. We were at my mom works when he decided to come out and my little guy got the biggest smile on his tooth less face!! I wish i could of got that on camera. 

But Connor was so excited that he finally was able to have the tooth fairy come to his house! He made sure that the tooth stayed right next to him till he went to bed. While i was reading him a book i think he checked on his tooth about 4 times. haha He was pretty excited! 

Maternity Pictures

Over Christmas break i knew i wanted to get maternity pictures done cause my Best friends Jennie was here. We had been talking a lot about what photos i wanted to take and what not. So i knew she would do a wonderful job. And it was a good reason to be able to hang out with her for an hour or so. :)

So now i will leave you with a lot of pictures!
