Connor was playing football at his friends Halloween party and came up to me crying cause he hurts his nose. Well his bloody nose turned into his finger being broken as well. It looks like when he was playing he tackled Brody and his finger jammed into his shoes. Just in a matter of 10 minutes his finger went from normal size to the size of a hot dog.
I ran over to our cousin house where Logan was for a going away party. Grabbed Logan and headed into instacare. They told us we needed to do an x-ray but it was going to take an hour or more cause they had two other people in x-ray for broken ribs. So we waiting and finally got some answers.
His bottom party of his finger is broken, his first knuckle on the top has a torn/detached tendon and a little tiny bone floating around.
The doctor at instacare told us that he was going to have to be in a splint for 6 weeks and also needed to go and talk to a orthopedists.
Connor was such a brave little guy. That night for him it really bugged him. It still bothers him but it just think its cause it is on his right hand and its hard to write in school and pretty much to do anything.
Once we got an appointment for the orthopedists.
He told us pretty much the same thing. Splint for 4-6 weeks need to come back and check with him every two weeks to make sure everything is on track. If it doesn't get better in the 6 weeks we will need to go to a hand specialist.
So now we just wait and see how this next 6 weeks will go. Brave little dude!
