11 Weeks

Not sure why it wouldn't turn the right way for me, so sorry if you have to turn your head a little. ;-)



How far along? 11 Weeks
Total weight gain/loss: Well at my doctor appointment on Thursday i had lost a total of 10 pounds.
Maternity clothes? None
 Stretch marks? No
Sleep: In the late afternoon I get pretty tired, but sleep great at night still
Best moment this week: 11 week doctor appointment. We got to see little Baby G and hear the heart beat 161, we also got to meet our new doctor and look around the new hospital. I'm in love with it.
 Have you told family and friends: Yes!
Miss Anything? Nothing really other then not feeling sick all day long.
Movement: Not yet, just gas bubbles
Food cravings: Brownies,brownies and more brownies. Thanks to my mom for making me some this past weekend.
Anything making you queasy or sick: Chicken, well any kind of red meat.
Have you started to show yet: A little bump so far - basically looks like I ate a few too many brownies.
Gender prediction: Girl
Labor Signs: No

Happy or Moody most of the time: Happy!
Looking forward to: Getting a bigger bump &; finding out the gender! :)

Again im not sure why its not letting me turn it upright. But here you can see baby G hand waving at you. You can also see the lips, nose and eyes. Awh makes me so excited to find out what we are having.

Mommy update:

When we went to the doctor on Thursday my blood pressure was really high and worried the nurse and doctor. So my doctor talked to me about what could happen if i had high blood pressure my whole pregnancy, i could have Preeclampsia and premature birth, well to say the least i was pretty worried when i left the office. She sent me off to have some blood work done and was going to have me do a 24 hour pee sample. So excited to collect my pee for 24 hours and keep it in my fridge next to all my food. Ha.

She is also making me take my blood pressure twice a day for a month. I have to take it in the morning and once more at night. Just cause im worried alot im taking it once more about lunch time. 

Daddy Update:

I swear i fall more in love with him each day! Most days i find him on our iPad not letting me see what he is doing. Well come to find out he is looking for baby things. Crib, swings, bedding sets, pretty much anything you can think of he is looking for. I knew Logan was excited to have a new baby come into our lives, but its totally different from my pregnancy with Connor. So this is new to me to have some just as excited as i am. He is a little worried daddy. I had a really bad cold last week and i wanted to take a hot bath and Logan said let me start your water, cause remember your doctor said no hot baths, Well i jump in the bath and its cold. 

He also has gotten after my for my seat belt, remember your doctor said under the belly. I told him i dont have a belly yet babe so i cant really put it under. 

He is just so excited to have a little one again in the house. I love watching him around me or when we getting to see our little baby! He tells me all the time that he is more in love with me then the day we got married. I think i can say that im pretty luck yo have him! 

Brother update:

Connor is amazing. He started school last week and is just in love with it. He has also started playing flag football. I swear this little man is going to be our sports lover. Everything sport he plays, he is great at and im not just say that cause im his mom. He is just a natural.

Last night we were laying in bed and i was reading him a book. He stopped me and said mom you know what you aren't just reading to me..... you are reading to me and the baby. He is so excited to be a big brother. I just know he is going to be the best big brother anyone could ask for. Baby G is going to love Connor!

10 Weeks

How far along: 10 Weeks! Two more weeks and ill be out of my 1st Trimester

Total weight gain: I've lost 10 Pounds.

Size and growth of the baby: Size of a Prune

Sex: Not sure yet. But we are all hoping for a little girl.

Maternity clothes: None yet. But i feel more comfy in my gym pants.

Sleep: Depends on the night. Last few days i have been sleeping like a baby!

Best moment(s) of the week: This weekend i was feeling more like myself again.

Food cravings/aversions: Nothing Still. I eat what i can keep down.

Morning sickness: Yup all day long. Over the weekend it seemed to be better. But Monday morning has been hell for me.

Labor signs: None at all!

Belly button in or out: In!

 

What I miss: Having energy, Not being sick!!!

What I'm looking forward to: Doctor appointment on Thursday and seeing out little gummy bear. :)

We have a little Surprise

We have a big surprise that we have been holding in for a few weeks. 

Connor is going to become a big brother.

March 2014!!

And we couldn't be more excited.. :)

 We weren't trying, actually we weren't going to start trying till after the wedding.

But over the 4th of July i was supposed to started the wonderful monthly gift. When it didn't come it was very weird for me. Now that i was on the pill my periods came right on time. I was cramping the whole weekend so i knew that i was going to start.

Well after a week of being late i thought to myself, could i really be pregnant??

I told Logan about it and he said just go get a test and we will see what it says. I took it that next Monday and it came up negative. So i just went on with my day. Deep down inside i just knew i was pregnant, for some reason i just knew i was. I told Logan i still believe I'm pregnant. Logan said just wait a week or so and take the other test and see what it says again. 

I waited and waited well really i only waited a few more days. Friday morning i woke up and took the test first thing in the morning. I swear within a few seconds it come up positives.. 

I was in shock and just looking at myself, i couldn't believe it. I have waited so long to be pregnant again. It was just the most amazing feeling in the world to know i was going to be able to bring a new life into this world. I was going to be able to have Logan with me each step of the way. 

Right then and there i just knew i had to do something for Logan to tell him...

I had all day to think about something. But really couldn't think of anything cute, and i didn't want to go any longer without telling him. I was so excited.. So i went to walmart and got two little outfits, one boy and one girl. I layed it on our table with the pregnancy test. 

I ended up having to go to work for a few hours and i didn't think about taken it off and waiting till i got home to show him. So i get this text from Logan and it says "Are you for real, am i really going to be a daddy?"

I ask him what it said and all i get back from him way :) :) :) :) :) I love you!

It was such a great feeling when i got home that night. Just to see how excited he was. 

So the next day i called and made an appointment with my doctor. we had to wait a week to see her. 

We were able to do an ultrasound and all you saw was a tiny black dot. I was still to early to hear a heart beat but it was confirmed that we were going to have a little baby on the way. 

The next day was my birthday and i couldn't hold it in anymore i told Logan that we need to tell our parents. So my birthday Logan parents took us out to dinner and we told them by showing the ultrasound and Barb started to cry and was just in disbelieve, Scott look over to the other table (It was a friend of his) and said I'm going to be a grandpa. It was such a great feeling to see how excited they all were.

Next we headed to my parents to tell them. We did the same thing by just showing the ultrasound. Mom cried and dad just smiled from ear to ear.

Connor was SO excited, he has been talking to us about having a baby sister for the longest time. So when we told him he was jumping up and down and gave us a hug. Knowing that Connor is going to be a big brother is the best feeling ever. He will always have someone to play with and someone to talk to. I just cant wait to see what he is like when this baby is here.

Some of the thing he has told me the past few weeks have been so funny.

"So Mom when you went to the doctor the doctor put the baby in you huh. Did the put a girl or boy. I really want a girl.

We went bowling.  Mom please be careful cause the ball could really hurt the baby

Mom i will wake up with the baby at night and bring her to you. OK"

I think he is a little excited

As the weeks went on we told family members and friends. This time will be totally different from me being pregnant with Connor. I was 16 and i was scared. No one knew about me being pregnant, so being able to tell everyone is just amazing. Having Logan with me, just makes me feel so much better about everything.

Just last week we went to an other doctor appointment to hear the heart beat and make sure i was as many weeks as she had thought. I was so happy to hear the heart beat, i swear its the best sound in the world.

I was right on track 8 weeks and babies heart was 170 and looked great. Just seeing that little heart beat was amazing. Knowing i had a living baby inside me and i was the one take care of him/her for the next 7 months. Its just amazing.

 

How far along: 9 weeks!

 

Total weight gain: I've lost 7 Pounds. All Day sickness

 

Size and growth of the baby: Size of a Green Olive

 

Sex: Not sure yet. But we are all hoping for a little girl.

 

Maternity clothes: None yet.

 

Sleep: Depends on the night. Either its awesome, or its horrible and tossing and turning all night. But before i was pregnant i didn't sleep good anyways.

Best moment(s) of the week: Telling everyone that we are pregnant and seeing baby!

 

Food cravings/aversions: When i want to eat... Sweets, Gummy bears, Gummy worms. But i normally don't want to eat cause everything makes me sick.

Morning sickness: ALLLLL DAY. I have only puked once. But smells get to me way fast. I cant eat ANY kind of meat. Nothing ever sounds good to eat.

Labor signs: None at all!

Belly button in or out: In!

What I miss: Having energy, Not being sick!!! 

What I'm looking forward to: Going to Idaho this weekend and also having another ultrasound done next Thursday. We have to change doctors. So i will now be going to Salt Lake.
