16 year old

 

I swear i have a 16 year old on my hands.

The first day of school, Connor comes home and say there is a girl at school and he thinks she is really pretty.

Well everyday after school, i ask him, did you set by Harbor today. The answer is always yes.. One day he came home with the biggest smile on his face. I said what are you smiling at, Harbor asked for me to wait for her, and we held hands. I about died.

He will ask me about once a day if Harbor can come over after school. He gets really upset if i tell him no cause i have to work. He tells me that he wants her to come to our new house and to his birthday party. So i will make sure to get a little invite ready for miss Harbor.

He loves her!!!!

 

 

 

So lucky enough we were able to hang out this weekend. We had a Halloween party. Right when we got there. Connor got so excited cause his girlfriend was there. He wasn't lying when he said she liked him to. Harbor was there with him alll day long. She was with him when he got his face painting, was with him playing out side, and made she that Connor was going to eat lunch. It was the cutest thing in the world.

But then i look at my little 4 year old and think he cant have a CRUSH yet. He is my baby and needs to think girls have germs. Haha

 

Anyways the party was totally fun. They kids had a blast. They did a few game and the rest just let the kids hang out and play all day long. At the end of the party we did trunk or treat. The kids got tons of candy. I'm glad Brittany does this yearly, it was so much fun!

Hunting

Every year Logan goes hunting with his Grandpa and Brother. He is always done over his birthday which sucks but it all worked out this year!

 

They left Friday and the same day My parents and everyone else left go to to Idaho. I stayed back so i could start some packing.

Well packing didn't go as well as i was hoping for. Barb called and wanted to go have girls day with Taylor and her mom. I was totally down for that. I hated being home alone so it was great.

A few days before was Taylor's birthday so we wanted to do something for her. We went to dinner and then went shopping. All four of us are shopping freaks. So of course we were shopping for most of the day. Both Taylor and i were wearing hills so but the end of the night our feet's were KILLING us.

It was so much fun hanging out with them and talking WEDDING..

9 months and counting. :)

 

 

Logan had been sending me pictures and updates about how fun he was having and everything. Then i got a call Sunday afternoon, and i could hear in his voice that something happened..

 

I said babe is everything okay..

He said.well..... I got my first deer.

I was way excited for him. But i knew he was having a hard time cause his dad isn't here.

It was a perfect birthday gift for him. got a 2X2 for his 22nd birthday. Lucky birthday right..

I hate hunting cause i hate knowing that they are killing something, and it made me really sad when Logan told me what he had to do. Broke my heart. But as long as Logan likes it, i guess i like it also..

NOT.

 

 



House Update

I swear this house is going to be the death of me.

I have to keep telling myself.

ITS WORTH IT IN THE END!!!!

It seems like when we get really close to closing, something comes up.

They thought Logan was full time, so they did all the paper work wrong. Which made us have to re-do it all over. We had to re finance Logan's car, we had to get more information for the Lady and it just seems like its an never ended thing.

So here we are 2 months after our offer got accepted, and still no house.

Everyone keeps telling me that maybe its a good thing. Save up more money and get more things for your house. Yes that's all TRUE, but its just the fact that we thought we would be moved in the middle of September. I want to start washing walls, shampooing carpets, and painting. I want this all done before we move in. I feel like i cant do anything tell the house is ours. So where dose that leave us.. No where.

It will be worth it, i know it will. But it is so stressful and crazy that i just want to be done. It has taken a toll on Logan and I, but we cant help it. Buying a house sucks at some point.

So they now say that we should be closed BY the 24th. So that mean 9 days........

CROSS your fingers for us.. please 9 days seems so long away.

IT WILL BE WORTH IT....

August 3rd

I'm back. and coming in with a big BAM!!!

I'm Engaged!

I know most of the people who read my blog, have seen it on facebook.

But i will tell you the story.

So Sunday 10/7/12 We went down to Logan parents house cause us girls where going shopping. When we got there, Logan was acting different. He kept looking at his mom like he wanted to tell her something. But we just went on like it was nothing. Us girls headed out to Salt Lake. When we got back Logan asked his mom it go into the bedroom with him. Didn't think anything of it. When they came out we headed home.

Monday 10/8/12

We bought this couch from a friend and had to run over and grab it. So My mom and i went off. When we got back Logan was just pulling in from work, he helped us unload it and when my dad was pulling the truck back in, Logan jumped in with him. They were talking FOREVER....... But that was normal to me, cause Logan and My Dad have a really good friendship. So i didn't think anything. About 20 minutes later, Logan came in and said" Lets go take the dogs up to the canyons. We did this all summer, so i was down for it.

We went us to settlement, just to change it up a little. I wanted to see how low the water was, and i thought the dogs and Connor would like it. When we got there, Logan was acting all weird. He was very distanced. Connor and Logan kept walking away from me. So i just kept to myself with the dogs.

A few minutes late Connor YELLED "Mom come here i need to show you something".

He was looking down at a rock, so i thought it was a bug or something. I got to him and Connor held out his hand and said here mommy.

It was a ring. I turned around and there was Logan, On his knee.

"Will you Marry me Chelby?"

Right then and there i started shaking and crying..

Of course i said YES.

It was the most amazing thing that Logan let Connor be apart of this. It made it just that much more special.

I cant wait to spend the rest of my life with his man!

He is what make me smile each day, he is what makes my heart beat a little faster, and he is want makes our family complete.
